Responsibilities

The Director of Talent is responsible for own client relations and leadership over the functional talent acquisition managers. This individual will be a strategic partner to clients, HR Business Partners and other areas of HR in advising on talent maximization. Through relationships and data, this role will build plans for the best way to market, source and hire roles. Overseeing the TA Managers who own TA programs/projects to ensure recruiting processes are aligned with Legal, Business Controls, and Corporate Guidelines. This also includes ensuring these processes align with and support the policies and programs of the greater HR organization. As an integral part of the recruiting leadership team, this incumbent will provide support to building diversity and inclusion initiatives, talent marketing, workforce data to leaders and building recruiting capabilities deeper into the team. The role also interlocks with key functions in HR such as HR Business Partner, Org Readiness, Engagement and Employee Relations. This position will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition and will primarily focus on the design, strategy, building and execution of the programmatic and analytical pieces of the staffing function.

Functional:
• Manage numerous projects in a dynamic environment ensuring and communicating clear prioritization to the Talent Acquisition team
• Create TA processes and roll out programs that are focused on delivering efficiency & great candidate, recruiter and manager experience
• Ensure consistency, quality and compliance and identify opportunities for process improvement within the lifecycle of TA
• Responsible for the accuracy of employee data and paperwork requirements within our applicant tracking system.
• Train new employees on utilization of applicant tracking system
• Provide on-going guidance and mentorship to the Talent Acquisition team, including regular meetings and other communications
• Serve as SME for all hiring/onboarding requirements both internally and externally
• Project manage key initiatives and improvements within the talent acquisition space, leveraging established best practices
• Build strong relationships with the Talent Acquisition leadership and recruiting team, creating shared short-term and long-term talent acquisition goals around operational excellence
• Drive and lead change efforts by building awareness and support with critical stakeholders and business partners
• Responsible for managing the relationship with HRIS and payroll systems and processes
• Monitor and manage Talent Acquisition compliance requirements including but not limited to; laws and regulations concerning data privacy, workplace accommodation and equal opportunity, onboarding documents/policies, legal requests/escalations, SOX audits, OFCCP/FCC regulations and reporting
• Serve as the primary liaison with key internal clients to ensure a responsive, communicative and client service oriented Operations
• Monitor, manage and maintain Talent Acquisition vendors to ensure service delivery and performance standards are meeting expectations.

Technical Expertise:
• Responsible for enhancements and maintenance of Applicant Tracking System. This includes but is not limited to: recruiting workflows, candidate application process, data consistency checks, automation, system configuration, compliance reporting, communications, form completion and onboarding paperwork requirements
• Identify new opportunities to improve quality and streamline operational initiatives for hiring an onboarding
• Implement new innovative recruitment tools and processes to drive success
• Integrate new and/or existing systems to reduce manual processes and improve the hiring process for recruiters as well as the candidate and employee experience
• Provide support for recruiting systems, interfaces and operational data and programs (background checks, assessments, HRIS)
• Facilitate ongoing training, communication, and education on system functionality, upgrades and improvements to drive adoption and full utilization of all recruiting technology
• Create Quick Reference Guides for the TA team and key stakeholders on TA processes
• Develop and manage recruiting metrics and dashboards, and leverage analytical data to improve effectiveness of Talent Acquisition programs
• Maintain reporting for key talent acquisition metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, open requisitions/headcount
• Serve as SMI and central point of contact for all Talent Acquisition questions and issues; analyze data and trouble shoot issues

Qualifications

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of Human Resources experience, Talent Acquisition/Talent Operations related area preferred
• Deep understanding of HR processes in large organizations
• Operations experience encompassing analytics, process improvement, system administration and client and candidate excellence
• Ability to understand talent markets, assess gaps and build comprehensive talent marketing strategies to maximize candidates
• Proven ability to manage and deliver flexible business plans to varying levels of leaders
• Specialized knowledge in talent sourcing, talent marketing, candidate management
• Strong ability to partner, consult and influence change management
• Demonstrated understanding of recruiting operating procedures, guidelines, and legal requirements as they apply to compliance in employment practices and applicant tracking; including but not limited to knowledge of EEO, OFCCP and FCC regulations
• Strong leadership skills within a large, complex/matrixed organization
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions
• Established project management, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Experience facilitating/delivering end user training
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate metrics and reporting
• Thrives in a fast paced environment where multitasking and prioritization is necessary
• Highly intuitive, able to work well under pressure, independently and with minimal direction
• Exhibit confidentiality and discretion in dealing with highly sensitive information
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact and build strong business relationships with all levels of management and employees including external agencies and vendors
• Experience working in a multi-site client environment
