Overview

We are currently seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition with the drive to lead Recruitment Managers, who are responsible for recruitment teams, and who all have the common goal of attracting fantastic, diverse talent to reflect the communities that Novant Health serves. This includes developing world-class sourcing strategy, streamlining internal and external recruitment processes, and re-imagining the talent assessment process in support of the healthcare system. This role will work across recruitment operations, sourcing, strategic consulting, executive recruitment, workforce planning, and candidate experience.

This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days/week on-site in Winston-Salem, NC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business/Public Administration, or related field; Advanced Degree (Master of similar) preferred.
  • Seven (7) years of progressively responsible supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience in a large scale/matrix environment required; previous healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, excellent judgment, qualitative and quantitative abilities, with meticulous attention to detail, ability to work cross-functionally, and adaptive to change.
  • Knowledge of current local, federal and state regulatory and governing recruitment standards.
  • Broad experience in directing recruitment, HR Best Practices and future trends in healthcare, and Executive Recruitment operations to ensure talent attraction across diverse demographics, as well as able to resolve escalated recruitment related matters.
  • Ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results, with strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with iCIMS and/or similar HR Applicant Tracking Systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent relationship management skills that include listening and consultative abilities to effectively establish credible relationships with a view of inclusion and belonging for all team members, as well as strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to appropriately and inclusively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative drive for reaching the next great idea and exceeding goals.
  • Intellectual depth, moral integrity, personal vision, creativity, leadership skills, fortitude, sincerity and diplomacy.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with clinical recruiting, including recruiting nurses.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.



Responsibilities

  • Direct all aspects of recruitment search strategies, including but not limited to business planning, forecasting, search execution, executive recruitment and talent analytics.
  • Design, update, and monitor existing workflows, practices, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage, develop, and lead a team of talent acquisition managers, specialists, and coordinators to achieve targets in alignment with overall talent acquisition strategy.
  • Solicit and monitor internal and marketplace benchmarks to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of all recruiting and sourcing activities, modifying processes as needed.
  • Ensure all hiring processes are in alignment with the Novant Health team member value proposition and brand and local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Manage an exceptional candidate experience before, during and after the interview process.
  • Consult with the organization on robust interviewing techniques to ensure compliance and enhancement of the candidate selection and experience.
  • Refine and manage consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring processes across the enterprise.
  • Consult with business leaders in assessing pipeline and projecting talent needs at all levels.
  • Work closely with Novant Health human resources leaders to oversee operational and administrative support, and in creating an environment that supports and respects diversity and promotes creative problem solving.
  • Maintain organizational policies and procedures, including rules of conduct, demonstrate and apply knowledge of process improvement principles, with consistent review of core processes to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Embrace change and engage in educational opportunities as it relates to best practices, legal and regulatory changes.
  • Provide ongoing informal and formal feedback to direct reports consistent with organizational policies and procedures, and coach team in developing plans to achieve career goals.
  • Follow Novant Health's customer service standards and ensure service recovery when needed, respond to customers in a timely manner, and oversee special requests from finance, legal and audit departments.
