Our Opportunity:

Chewy is hiring an Director, Talent Acquisition to lead hiring for our Sourcing team. This growing business is seeking a recruiting leader to lead a team of passionate sourcers on strategy, operations, and hiring delivery. The Director will be responsible for all aspects of building a a successful sourcing team - from designing recruiting strategy, effectively building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders, leading and inspiring a team, and achieving headcount targets and all KPIs. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of building and innovating with high passion for creating and maturing a world-class sourcing team at scale.

What You'll Do:

  • Engage and partner with executive level stakeholders as the recruiting SME on market trends, sourcing metrics, operational processes, systems and tools
  • Lead, develop and manage a team of sourcers to deliver hire high quality candidates at scale
  • Manage and partner with TA and Business leaders against headcount plans, progress to hiring goals, and all operational metrics
  • Utilize analytical thinking to diagnose business challenges and identify hiring trends
  • Build repeatable, programmatic solutions to sourcing processes
  • Manage one to two large-scale projects that impact the enterprise as we optimize the talent acquisition operating model
  • Drive a culture of diversity and inclusion

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading recruiting teams
  • 3+ years leading a sourcing team
  • 3+ years of experience regularly interfacing and communicating executive leaders up to the C-suite
  • Experience sourcing in Technical and/or Product fields a strong plus
  • Proven track record of utilizing a data-driven approach to building and innovating
  • Experience in HR/TA/Business transformation efforts a strong plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Some travel may be required, based on business needs
