Director, People Operations & Total Rewards

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
Reporting to the Vice President, People, this role will play a key role in defining the Company's strategy and approach to HR operational excellence as it relates to compensation and benefits and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for HR Systems, Total Rewards, Benefits, Compliance, and People Analytics. You think strategically and are adept at juggling multiple priorities. We are open to this role being based out of our Austin, TX, New York City, NY, Omaha, NE or Washington, DC office locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversight of Total Rewards and Total Rewards team, including but not limited to traditional and non-traditional benefits, employee well-being, leave management,
- Develop strategies to drive employee awareness and understanding of all compensation and benefit programs
- Full employee life-cycle onboarding, offboarding, and mid-year adjustments
- Responsible for Multi-State Employee and global Employee Guidelines
- Manage People Data Analytics team, responsible for regular metrics reporting and trend identifications
- Risk & Crisis Management
- Owner of Compensation program including philosophy development and evolution, band establishment, etc. for both domestic and international
- Management of Long Term Incentives including Equity Program Management
- Manage Infrastructure team, including systems, compliance and immigration.
- Management of People Operations budget/expenses
- Close partnership with Accounting and FP&A for all people-related costs including but not limited to benefits, severance, etc.
- Policy creation, evolution, and modification
- Provide human resources support and consultation across the business on complex issues, supporting staff, managers and executives in all related areas
- Communicate at all levels in the company and to support business development and change
- Close liaison/partnership with international HR leaders as well as domestic
SUCCESSFUL DIRECTOR, P OPS & TOTAL REWARDS CANDIDATES HAVE:
- 8-10+ years of experience working in Compensation/Total Rewards
- Experience as an influential leader with strong written and verbal communication skills
- An eye to ensure TKWW’s compensation and benefits programs are supportive of our diversity and inclusion programs
- The drive to strive to be industry leading and progressive in our total rewards programs, regularly monitoring external trends to proactively adjust our total rewards programs to stay competitive in the market.
- Expert level Excel skills required
- Experience with Google Suite, specifically Google Sheets
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
- Prior experience working in HRIS/HCM systems with practical experience with HR database administration including payroll systems
- Prior experience analyzing Radford, Mercer, WTW or other third party compensation data
- Prior experience administering an organization’s promotion/merit process either via spreadsheets or a system such as PayScal
- Experience in creating, designing, and maintaining effective dashboards and other data delivery methods to stakeholders
- Ability to think with a Global mindset and work with partners globally as needed
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships cross-functionally with various departments and stakeholders to find solutions, increase productivity, efficiency and team success
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize effectively, and adhere to tight deadlines and quick turnarounds
- Possess a self-confident, high energy, positive, results-oriented demeanor with a strong drive to succeed and good judgement
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize with excelling written and verbal communication
- 6 sigma black belt - process management skills
- A degree or certification in Human Resources or related field is preferred
