Director of People Operations at Elemy

Elemy is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and collaborative leader for our People Operations team. This role reports directly to our VP of People and will own the strategy and execution of our people infrastructure, processes and analytics for our fast growing global population.  You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to design and deploy scalable technology, policies and programs that demonstrate Elemy’s commitment to its team members.

The People Operations team at Elemy is foundational in providing strategic and operational support for all HR-related matters to leaders and team members.  In your role you will fully own Elemy’s approach to core policies and processes, onboarding, compliance, benefits, HR technology, and analytics. 

You will work closely with cross functional teams including Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, and Legal. You will also partner with other leaders within the People Team, including our Director of Compensation, Director of Employee Experience, Senior People Partners and our Learning & Development team. 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and scale the People Operations team and technology and process infrastructure in support of 1,600+ people and scaling.
  • Understand organizational needs and create and document clear processes, policies, and workflows that are compliant, efficient, scalable, and reflect Elemy’s values. 
  • Drive excellence in processes and analytics to ensure data integrity and appropriate accessibility across platforms.
  • Create the infrastructure to deliver repeatable actionable reporting and insights to the business. 
  • Use data to identify opportunities to continuously improve and automate support for our team members, whether through our ticketing system, core processes, content management or other areas.
  • Set the strategy and implement progressive and competitive benefit offerings to support team member physical, mental and financial wellness.
  • Proactively surface and solve complex and cross-functional issues before they create challenges for team members or managers. 
  • Build, own and execute against a core HR systems & technology multi-year roadmap.
  • Support critical integrations of acquired companies with Elemy’s people practices, policies and processes.

Who You Are

  • An experienced manager (5+ years of progressive experience) of People Operations in a fast paced environment. High growth experience is a must. 
  • An exceptional project manager with a track record of success in bringing highly complex and cross-functional projects to completion with stakeholder engagement and planning/execution transparency
  • Experienced at owning HRIS processes and workflows and technology implementations.
  • Strong at building collaborative teams and coaching and supporting them to sustained success, including giving real-time feedback, celebrating small wins and big milestones
  • An expert in analyzing people-centric data and building data-driven action plans for continued scalability and support.
  • Passionate about creating sustainable and navigable infrastructure for the Ops team - including clarity of documented processes and auditable data and document integrity
  • Able to thrive in ambiguity and be a strong self-starter.
  • Experienced working with a distributed, international workforce. 
  • High integrity and aligned with Elemy’s mission and values.
