Why We’re Hiring
Reporting to the Head of People, we’re looking for an experienced HR leader who is also excited to roll up their sleeves to further build and grow the Business Partner, Learning & Development, and Total Rewards teams up for success as we continue to scale. Ideally, you have scaled the HR function at another high-growth startup, and have led it through various stages of scale. We’ll look to you to lead our HR strategy with Total Rewards (compensation/benefits/perks), HR Administration, and HR Systems while ensuring we are efficient and compliant. What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver on the overall People Operations strategy and operating model through process design and implementation of technology-enabled solutions that drive efficiency as we will migrate to a new HRIS (you will help lead the team through that change management process!)
- Foster a culture of continuous feedback and growth by improving our development review, career pathing, and succession planning processes and programs
- Provide strategic guidance to the further development, implementation, and administration of total rewards programs as a key talent attraction and retention tool
- Implement and manage scalable People Operations processes and tools that balance positive employee experiences with compliance and legal requirements
- Lead the enhancement and maintenance of effective dashboards and other data delivery methods to stakeholders to ensure HR analytics are on point
- Instill a global mindset to expand efforts across both our domestic and soon to be international teams
- Develop a scalable onboarding program for all new incoming employees
What we’re looking for
You’ll work in collaboration with leaders across Alloy and other members of the People team to drive the company’s people priorities. Be a key role in defining Alloy’s strategy and approach to HR operational excellence!
- 7+ years of recruiting or relevant operational experience with at least 2 years leading a team in hyper-growth organizations, including management of an in-house team with a B2B technology focus
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations to lead compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal requirements including any related to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Department of Labor, worker compensation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) with the familiarity of global laws in countries such as Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, etc.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and execution skills, including a desire to roll up sleeves to prioritize work, pivot, and meet deadlines
- Hands-on experience working on HRIS implementation or upgrades preferred
- SHRM-CP or SPHR Certification is a plus!
