Resident is excited to announce the newly created role of Director, Global Compensation and Total Rewards to our Global People team. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will elevate our Total Rewards strategy to keep pace with the evolution and expansion of our company. With locations in competitive regions in a remote workforce, you will be responsible for leading Resident’s global total rewards program to stay on top of attracting top talent, help drive employee engagement and retain talent through a competitive compensation and benefits program. We will also look to you to build upon, and scale our existing global compensation and benefits programs.
**This is a Remote, Work From Home Position. To be considered for this role you must be authorized to work in and reside in the United States.**
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with our global team to gain trust and ensure alignment on total rewards philosophy and strategy.
- Review current compensation structures, salary ranges, job families/position levels, and conduct job analysis and market pricings.
- Analyze results from compensation surveys and benefits benchmarks to make recommendations to ensure we offer ambitious programs
- Design and deliver consistent, compelling training and communication programs around Resident’s total rewards philosophy that are easily translatable across all levels of partners from the C-Suite to entry level.
- Partner with our HR Business Partners, Recruiting Team, Hiring Managers and key business leaders on compensation and equity grant recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, job matches, job leveling, and job families that tie into the strategic goals of the business
- Lead the preparation and execution of focal pay review, focal merit review cycle, and ongoing incentive programs administration
- Work with our Finance team to ensure adequate estimates, forecasts, and spends for compensation related programs
- Lead benefits strategy and design of global benefits programs
- Maintain compliance with employment-related federal and state statutory requirements regarding employee pay. Stay up-to-date on current compensation-related legislation
- Demonstrable experience owning the Total Rewards due diligence and subsequent integration of different types of mergers and acquisitions
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of related compensation and benefits experience
- 5 years Total Rewards leadership experience
- Experience with Radford, Mercer, Towers Watson and OptionImpact a plus
- A deep understanding, developed through experience, of the compensation & benefits landscape, especially in startups and DTC and E-Commerce brands.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills.
- Gravitas to generate results through influence in a matrix environment with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to interact directly with C-level leaders
- Experience developing and continually advancing base and variable pay structure and administrative guidelines based on business needs and long-range objectives
- Strong network of Total Reward professionals to benchmark and to share with in order to calibrate compensation and benefits options
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) a plus
- Experience working with sales commission plans.
- Experience with equity programs including Carta a plus
