Director, Executive Development (Remote)

We are looking for a Director of Executive Development to lead key global talent management practices that delight our Senior Director and above population around the globe. This is a newly created position, reporting to the recently hired VP of Global Talent Management, who is building the function to accelerate achievement of our business strategy.
The Director of Executive Development will have global executive talent management expertise and a passion for building and championing strategies and related talent practices to help select, onboard, engage, retain, and develop executives - enabling high performance at senior levels of our fast growing organization.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Understand and support strategic vision for Freshworks and stay apprised of external trends. Partner with Global Talent Management, and broader HR and leadership team to educate and align internal stakeholders on our strategic choices for our talent philosophy and associated talent practices that enable Freshworks business strategy.
- Partner with VP, Global Talent Management and key partners to further articulate our strategy for executive talent management, including:
- Actively manage development plans to accelerate readiness of bench strength, and facilitate talent movement per succession plans, and other key initiatives identified in our ongoing Organizational Success Review process.
- Build high touch onboarding practices for consistent execution globally
- Build executive coaching practice, manage cadre of coaches, and evaluate impact of coaching
- Serve on the core team responsible for developing updated leadership competencies/success factors and evolve assessment and selection practices accordingly
- Regularly measure progress and assess effectiveness of practices
- Leverage descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis to continuously improve efforts and impact
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, and manage external partners
- Engage, inspire and align key stakeholders and manage communications with key partners across our business
Skills and Qualifications:
- 12+ years HR experience with primary experience in executive talent management, leadership development and organization development
- Prior experience in a public company and working with stakeholders around the globe
- Experience designing, delivering and ensuring execution of successful executive development programs at fast growing companies.
- Coaching certification strongly preferred. Experience managing external vendors.
- Deep knowledgeable of leading executive global talent management practices
- Experience working with senior leaders in fast growing organizations
- Strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills. Collaborative and inclusive, with a bias for action, and strong project management skills.
- Comfortable and experienced with complexity, ambiguity. Able to translate complex concepts into meaningful, relevant, and actionable plans.
- Experienced with design thinking methodology, and designing experiences from the outside-in.
