People Data Analyst, Talent Acquisition
Motional’s Talent Acquisition team is scaling quickly and to be successful we need to add a Data analyst to our team. The TA/HR Data Analyst will be developing new reporting and analytics solutions using human capital data as well as rebuilding existing reports and dashboards.
- You will provide critical insight to various stakeholders including senior management and be part of a highly collaborative team.
- Implement Power BI and build the dashboards and reports
- Become and expert in Greenhouse (ATS) reports
- Provide HR analytics capabilities that drive insight and predictability through people and organizational data which enable leadership and decision-making
- Become a thought partner with the HR Organizations
- Serving as a credible partner offering high levels of subject matter expertise on HR data, insights, trends, forecasts, and workforce centric issues informed by data
- Utilize analytics and data modeling skills and experience to combine quantitative & qualitative findings and other inputs providing trending, forecasting, simulations, statistical methods, correlation analysis, among other techniques to derive insights and comprehensive recommendations
- Apply innovative and creative data visualization, storytelling and communication that will translate data and complex subject matter into actionable and consumable insights for stakeholders and clients
- Approach and execute ad-hoc analytics requests creatively while also providing innovative approaches to inform our Power Bi solutions as part of our exciting digital transformation to deliver automated people analytics products that will improve standardization, efficiency, team performance and client self-service capability
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Business Analytics, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology)
- Super user of Excel and Google Sheets
- 2+ years of experience analyzing data to tell a story
- Exposure working with human resources data, reporting, and analytics
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Google Studio, etc.
- Experience working with large volumes of data and testing data flow across multiple systems
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS and relational databases (SQL)
- Exposure to advanced analytics methods and tools (R and Python)
- Ability to document complex business and technical processes
- Experience with key software development processes such as testing and version control
- Ability to collaborate with data analysts, software engineers, business partners and other stakeholders • Experience with agile methodology and project management
