Corporate HR - Corporate Policy Management
JOB SUMMARY
The Mgr, Corporate Policy Management will oversee all functions related to the management of corporate policies and leadership guidelines. This position will act as an internal consultant and build relationships with business leaders, human resources, and policy owner representatives. Work on projects related to CPM and the broader employee and labor relations function.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Partner with policy owners (business leaders) company-wide to ensure that corporate policies are developed, approved, and implemented following the company's established Corporate Policy
Management process.
Assist in the drafting/updating of human resources related policies and reviewing/editing of other types of policies and related documents.
Initiate document reviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders as required. Track and combine edits as needed.
Ensure all corporate policies and leadership guidelines are properly approved prior to implementation.
Coordinate with policy owners and internal corporate teams (e.g., Communications, Learning, Onboarding, etc.) to ensure policies and guidelines are appropriately posted, communicated, and related training is developed as needed.
Track versions and maintain an archive of past corporate policies and leadership guidelines.
Field policy related questions from the HR community and re-direct to policy owners as needed.
Prepare status reports monthly and upon request.
Project work and other duties as assigned (i.e., researching and reporting out on policy-related best practices and industry benchmarks).
Perform other duties as requested

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Human resources work experience or similar role - 5+

Ability to partner with business leaders to achieve objectives
In-depth knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Proven business/human resources related writing and editing skills (e.g., policies, processes, procedures, investigation reports, employee communications, presentations, etc.) - samples welcome/preferred
Ability to research, summarize, and present information to leaders/others in a clear and concise manner (PowerPoint presentations, reports)
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Education
HRCI-PHR or SHRM-CP, Microsoft Word and/or Excel certification, related continuing education
Master's Degree in related field
Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Human resources experience or related field (e.g. Employee Relations, Communications, Compliance, Legal, Management Consulting, etc.) with recent experience working in an advisory role to business leaders - 5-7
Broadband/Media/Telecom industry or technology company experience
