About the role:

The Consultant Relations Director will be a key connector to the large national consulting firms like Aon, Mercer, and Willis Towers Watson and our organization. This role will be responsible for managing, building, and maintaining relationships at these firms along with educating consultants on our value proposition and key differentiators. In addition, this role will partner with Sales and Client Success on key opportunities to differentiate our messaging to the consultant community.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and build relationships with consultant leadership from the large, national consulting firms like Aon, Mercer, and Willis Towers Watson
  • Prioritize which consultants and local markets to focus education and messaging efforts
  • In collaboration with the Senior Director of Consultant Relations, develop targeted messaging for the consultant community; partner with Sales and Client Success to deliver targeted messaging 
  • Articulate Grand Rounds Health/Doctor on Demand and Included Health differentiators and value prop in general, and when appropriate, on employer-specific opportunities
  • Facilitate meetings with consultants to understand our differentiators and to drive excitement about our solutions
  • Partner with Sales and Client Success on key opportunities to help strategize how to best partner with the consultant to win
  • Build reporting for wins/losses by consulting firm; identify trends and develop mitigation strategy, where appropriate
  • Inform future roadmap and product packaging based on input from the consulting community

In your first 30 days:

  • Onboard remotely
  • Work with the Senior Director, Consultant Relations to understand our consultant relationships and identify areas of opportunity with the large, national consulting firms
  • Begin to build relationships with colleagues in Sales and Client Success
  • Become familiar with Grand Rounds Health/Doctor on Demand products and solutions

In your first 60 days:

  • Develop a strong internal network
  • Build out an annual plan, with key dates and deliverables
  • Have a deep understanding of the Grand Rounds Health/Doctor on Demand value proposition
  • Develop reporting

In your first 90 days:

  • Roll out the plan internally to key stakeholders in GTM
  • Begin meetings with local consultants

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of customer-facing experience in health and benefits 
  • Experience at a consulting or brokerage firm
  • Experience in consultative sales
  • Experience in a high growth, fast changing environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information and messages to a broad and diverse audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to travel (travel amount TBD)
  • Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred.
