Reporting to the Director of Total rewards, you will own the evaluation, continuous improvement, and implementation of our compensation program globally. At SeatGeek we believe our people are an essential strategic advantage; our compensation team is of great importance to ensure the team is motivated and rewarded appropriately.
What you'll do
- Manage the development, implementation, and administration of various compensation programs
- Own the execution of the annual salary planning review
- Lead the benchmarking of current and prospective roles against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our business decisions
- Plan and communicate compensation structures and programs to recruiters, HR partners, and business leaders to help answer questions and help evaluate job levels and other general comp inquiries
- Complete regular audit reports to ensure alignment with compensation philosophy and job architecture
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends to support the development of compensation philosophies and the development of various incentive programs
- Advise management on various compliance related topics to align with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations

- A lover of numbers and data, with an open-minded approach to problem solving
- Comfortable working in an agile work environment; quick on your feet
- Assertive when required, able to challenge and be challenged both internally and with clients in a constructive and respectful way
- A problem solver, able to quickly digest a problem and evaluate solutions and then empower others to deliver
- Able to make effective decisions under pressure and promote a calm and considered approach
- A desire to consistently improve efficiency and quality of delivery
What you have
- 5+ years working in compensation or management consulting
- Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Sheets/Excel wizard - vlookups, index matches, etc. with a penchant for data visualization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management skills
