Who you are:
You are a highly motivated compensation expert with experience building and executing compensation programs to attract and retain top talent. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, technical direction, and maintenance of Dataminr's compensation programs and initiatives.
You will work on the people team and report to the Senior Director, Total Rewards. The role will be at the core of driving the analysis and innovation of Dataminr's ever-expanding compensation package. You will work cross-functionally and partner closely with various departments and levels of management throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing internal compensation programs, recommending revisions that maintain competitiveness, and equitability
  • Design and manage scalable job architecture, and compensation structures
  • Convert data into actionable insights and executive ready presentations for senior leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with local/federal compensation requirements and statutes
  • Manage compensation market pricing and benchmarking efforts, including identification of benchmarking solutions and participation in surveys
  • Manage and support administration of compensation process along with configuring systems to support annual compensation process
  • Liaise with Talent Acquisition to ensure benchmarking aligns with the most recent market trends along with providing the support and tools required to appropriately fill roles in line with the market and maintain internal pay parity
  • Create communications and resources to support compensation strategy and equity programs based on the needs of the team
  • Develop and maintain complex compensation modeling, analytics, metrics and reporting.
  • Standardize, document and automate processes across the globe
  • Demonstrate judgment and ability to deal with confidential and sensitive material


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience working in compensation, finance, or another related field.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • In-depth experience with a compensation planning system and market analysis tools. (i.e. Radford)
  • Experience with developing and implementing scalable procedures and processes
  • Comfortable preparing data-driven materials and presenting to executive team members and various stakeholders
  • Comfortable handling ambiguity and complexity
  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company a plus
  • A compensation certification, e.g. CCP, GRP, or CEBS is a plus
