Chief People Officer

What you’ll do:
As Chief People Officer you’ll lead the people, culture and talent functions at Ethic. You will design and execute on a people strategy that addresses the full life cycle experience of a team member at Ethic - from recruiting and onboarding, through engagement, performance management, learning and development. You’ll foster an environment that allows each team member to contribute fully to our mission.
- Define and develop measures of success for a growing People Operations team, focussing on recruiting and onboard, engagement, performance management, coaching, learning and development
- Embed our company Principles into all aspects of People Operations roles, as well as partner with leadership and team members to embed Principles across the organization
- Embed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion into all people processes, including further developing initiatives and measures of success for DE&I at Ethic
- Establish robust learning and development programs for team members and managers, across multiple discipline teams, including focus on both hard and soft skills
- Position Ethic as a top place to work, including identifying new opportunities to improve
- Partner with leadership, hiring managers and finance to establish and manage team growth projections
- Responsible for all HR functions including benefits management, compensation, employment law, and employee relations
- Lead and manage the People Operations team, which includes People Operations, Talent Acquisition and Workplace Experience

What you’ll bring to the table:
- 10+ years experience in People Operations, including 3+ years of experience leading a People team at a high growth company
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing systems to support a fast scaling team while maintaining a people first approach
- Demonstrated experience designing and executing engagement and development programs that allow all team members to contribute fully
- Experience with employee relations and employment law practices
Location: New York, NY and able to be in our office 2+ days a week

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation at Ethic is a combination of base salary, equity (stock options) in the company, and benefits.
The base salary for this role will range from $300,000 - $350,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
In addition, this position is eligible for variable compensation tied to predetermined goals and key results.
