Getty Images is looking for a Benefits Specialist for our global benefits team. You will help to deliver outstanding employee engagement through administering benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) plans, and pension schemes.

You are detailed oriented and love to organize and drive process efficiencies. You communicate clearly with employees and drive our vendor relationships to ensure our benefit plans are administered correctly, with strict compliance and that service levels are met. You prioritize and respond quickly, deliver efficiently to meet tight expectations, manage your time optimally, maintaining a high degree of confidentiality of our most important asset – our people. 

Your Next Challenge:

  • Understand the business and our employee benefit needs so that you can help drive benefit plan design improvements and employee engagement.
  • Own and constantly look for opportunities to streamline benefits administration processes.
  • Own day-to-day third-party vendor relationships, including vendor management to agreed-upon KPIs and performance guarantees. Drive for effective processes and the best possible service delivery.
  • In partnership with other team members and external vendors help to ensure that employee benefit plans, pension, and 401(k) plans are delivered in accordance with plan specifications and compliance requirements.
  • Respond to employee questions related to claims issues, plan eligibility, and life event changes and assist with new-hire orientations while continuously and proactively gathering their feedback and reporting on trends needed for continuous plan improvement.
  • Own, develop and ensure employee benefits communication channels are up to date.
  • Manage disability, FMLA, and leave processes with HR Business Partners with attention to continuous process improvement.
  • Evaluate requirements for and project manage benefit enrollments and new benefit program rollouts, including determining participant eligibility and developing and delivering open enrollment materials.
  • Ensure on an ongoing basis all HRIS benefits configurations are up to date to meet enrollment specifications and vendor feed requirements.
  • Perform scheduled and routine quality checks of benefits-related data and assist with the response to internal and external audits.
  • Produce reports for invoice and budgeting requirements
  • Assist with various other projects and related benefit plan projects across the whole Human Resources function.

What You Will Need:

  • Demonstrated ability working in Benefits Administration and/or Human Resources
  • Knowledge of HRIS, benefits, and reporting modules strongly preferred (Workday a plus)
  • Excellent organization, written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Good judgment and ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with global partners
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust quickly to shifting priorities
  • Ability to problem-solve and introduce process improvements
  • High awareness of and respect for critical and confidential Human Resources data
  • CEBS preferred

What You Can Expect (Mental and Physical Demands):

  • Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
  • Occasionally moving objects up to 20 lbs and frequently moving objects up to 10 lbs.
  • Frequent sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing; the time of each will vary.
  • Constant operation of computer and frequent usage of other office machinery, including (but not limited to) calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
  • Constant assessment of accuracy and thoroughness of the work assignment.
