At Salesloft, help grow and scale our company by being a part of creating a forward thinking global benefits program.  Our Benefits Manager is critical to our company’s success.  You will be a key member of our growing Total Rewards team and responsible for managing and administering our global benefits and leave programs.  You will be our subject matter expert and partner with People Business Partners, Recruiting, and Leaders both domestically and internationally on benefits-related activities, compliance, and initiatives.  You will serve as the primary point of contact for all benefit vendors and will work as an advocate for employees by escalating benefit related issues as appropriate. In addition, you will lead our annual open enrollment programs and ensure compliance for all programs/plans.   

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for ensuring employee benefits are administered correctly.  Specifically, you will:

  • Benefits Management and Administration - Manage all aspects of Salesloft’s global health and welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, life, disability and other ancillary coverage to ensure compliance with all required regulations.  Act as the main point of contact with all contracted vendors and serve as the escalation point for any complex service issues.
  • Benefits Renewal - Lead all facets of the annual benefits renewal process which may include plan design review, proposal analysis, cost modeling, development of communication tools and materials and education for the People Team, all within required deadlines
  • Benefit Reconciliation - Provide monthly review of benefit costs/enrollments and work directly with Accounting to ensure that proper accruals are in place. Also responsible for ad-hoc reporting requests as required to support Salesloft’s leadership.
  • Retirement Programs - manage all aspects of the global retirement programs  plan from eligibility, enrollment and audit. Oversee annual testing and audit. Perform routine plan analysis and develop robust employee education plans to drive participation.
  • Leave of Absence Management and Administration - Oversee Leave Administration to include internal leave management process as well as outsourced vendor management. Work with Legal as needed to handle leave cases within Salesloft’s guidelines
  • Benefit Auditing - Conduct regular audits of employee benefit enrollments, benefit billing and plan costs to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Benefit Compliance - ensure company compliance with all state and federal guidelines including distributions of all required government filings benefits documents and notices to employees.
  • Immigration and Global Mobility - partner with people business partners, legal team, outside immigration services provider by acting as the point of contact and subject matter expert for all US Immigration inquiries and questions.  Manage and complete the green card application process before assigning to the Immigration Counsel. Work closely with the hiring managers across the business to educate and manage expectations on the Immigration process and the time lines involved. Ensure all parties are kept up to date with changes and progression of the cases where possible.  Obtain authorisation checks, signatures and validate supporting documentation
  • Partnership - close collaboration with our HRIS, Payroll, People Business Partners, and Accounting teams required.

THE SKILL SET:

  • 5 - 8+ years of benefits experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, global environment. 
  • Previous experience managing and administering global benefit and retirement programs.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems assisting in the set up of the benefit programs (Workday Required).
  • High growth company experience preferably in SaaS
  • Experience in designing benefit programs and the desire to build a forward thinking global benefits program.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to the appropriate audiences. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources Management or related.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.  Ability to synthesize information and data from a variety of sources.
  • A passion for teamwork and collaboration to achieve goals.
  • Experience with managing self-funded benefit programs preferred

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn the Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and delve into your territory 
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Meet key partners in Brokers, Vendors, HR Team, Finance, Executives etc. - they will be key relationships for you throughout your role
  • Become familiar with the employee life cycle, Salesloft culture, and business processes. 
  • Begin developing relationships with various health/ wellness vendors/partners

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Become familiar with all of our benefit plans, policies and offerings
  • Begin working with vendors on any escalated employee or process issues
  • Be comfortable performing tasks in Workday and reviewing benefit business processes.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be the subject matter expert in employee questions (benefits, perks, processes, etc.) 
  • Administering our LOA program and partnering with our FMLA vendor to ensure compliance.
  • Begin preparing for our next Open Enrollment by negotiating costs and solidifying proposals for our following plan year 
  • Familiar with the Workday reporting process and will be able to build and pull regular reports to audit employee elections

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Successfully complete company-wide open enrollment
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all Salesloft benefit offerings, policies, and programs
