The Role:
How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Respond to employee benefit inquiries, answer employee questions, and help other members of the team with Employee Benefits, COBRA, Disability, and 401k projects. Escalate calls to other team members as needed.
  • Pay vendor bills through A/P system and track and record all payments in an Excel worksheet.
  • Enter employee data changes into HR system ensuring data is accurate. Run standard reports as requested.
  • Assist with benefit plan audits. Prepare, collect, and organize data for annual regulatory filings 
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing and benefits payments. Handle enrollments, benefits payments, benefit claims, COBRA, benefits terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident, and death claims. Maintain employee benefits files, maintain group benefits database, and update employee payroll records.
  • Assists with open enrollment meetings. Support Open Enrollment activities such as answer phone calls and questions, contact vendors with escalated issues, distribute materials, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist in organizing paperwork and communications for open enrollment as well as ongoing elections.
  • Assist with 401k activities such as funding, reporting and trouble-shooting issues with employees or file feeds between the HR system and vendor.
  • Assist with programming new plans and data entry as needed in benefit admin system.
  • Coordinates and assists in planning holiday, special in-office events, and employee engagement activities.
  • Other administrative duties as needed for special projects.
  • Assist Compensation Manager with compensation analysis for new positions, increases, bonuses, promotions, annual salary review, etc.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate benchmarks for salary targets
  • Review and compare large sets of data in Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables)
  • Extract data from HR systems and compile in reports and presentations for management
  • Manage internal HR system of compensation data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare quarterly and annual incentive plan agreements for employees on commission and revenue bonus plans

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 3+ years’ experience working with Benefits and Retirement plans
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including data entry and troubleshooting problems. Experience using Paylocity a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and organize.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required. (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and oral
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment and finish projects to completion
  • Occasional need to work outside of normal business hours as required to support customers may be required
