As the Associate Technical Recruiter, your primary focus will be on recruiting for exempt IT and technical positions by developing and implementing staffing strategies and creating a robust talent pipeline to establish GXO as an employer of choice. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Recruit for a variety of IT and technical roles; recruit for non-technical roles assigned as needed to support changing business needs
  • Identify, support and implement sourcing and marketing strategies to attract qualified candidates
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure positions are filled with highly talented candidates in a seamless manner
  • Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers
  • Perform related administrative work to support the immediate or full team and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of recruiting processes
  • Support other team members as needed, e.g. creating requisitions, scheduling and conducting phone screens and interviews, reviewing applications, scheduling and facilitating meetings, creating and maintaining spreadsheets/SharePoint/projects, etc.
  • Take the initiative to grow and develop skills by seeking out and attending trainings, partnering with and learning from others on the team, research, etc.
  • Represent and participate in professional and college recruitment events to foster strong relationships and fill open positions
  • Effectively partner with members of the immediate and broad Talent Acquisition group to ensure success of the entire team
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and the self-motivation to do whatever it takes to achieve success for the team in a quality, professional manner while maintaining upstanding integrity and work ethics

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

It'd be great if you also have:

  • 1 year of high-volume recruiting or HR-related experience
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A clear understanding that the full team's success is a shared responsibility; solid ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse team to achieve success
