PitchBook's Associate Recruiter is responsible for helping us reach our next growth stage by identifying candidates who embody our values, want to grow with us and are excited about how we serve our customers. Roles / teams you will be hiring for will focus on a wide array of roles across different groups such as Data Operations, Product, Marketing and Editorial. 
Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge of departments in order to quickly identify hiring needs at the department level, as well as how that fits into the broader organizational culture
  • Develop a pipeline of talent, specifically for frequently filled positions
  • Work creatively with departments to create recruitment plans, identify resources for outreach and staffing needs
  • Provide consultation and training to departments regarding all facets of the hiring process, including interviewing, selection and diversity
  • Has excellent instincts and can screen candidates for technical and cultural fit before presenting the most highly qualified candidates to the hiring team
  • Takes ownership of the entire recruiting process, including scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating onsite interviews and interview-related activities
  • Confidently and consistently makes and negotiates offers and closes candidates
  • Actively participates in the development of recruiting strategies, including helping to build on-campus recruiting programs
  • Is committed to providing a positive candidate experience and representing PitchBook's culture and values
  • Learns and understands how we measure recruiting success and works to consistently meet, exceed and report on goals in weekly updates to the team
  • Influences all aspects of recruiting, including evaluating and recommending new recruiting resources and tools
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience
  • Is a true "people person" who loves talking to people, learning about people, and working with people-all day every day
  • Proven experience in creative sourcing, including diversity sourcing and outreach
  • Is an expert multi-tasker able to balance urgency and thoroughness
  • Enjoys and excels in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving high-performance environment
  • Is versed in employment laws and best practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements in all hiring and employee relations practices
  • Has a knack for technology and can work consistently within the ATS system
