As Associate Director,  Total Reward, you will…

Be Accountable and Responsible

  • Compensation
    • Design and administer compensation strategies and programs which include benchmarking, researching, and analyzing market salary data as well as evaluating internal equity, external competitiveness and legal compliance
    • Manage agency compensation tools and administration; conduct market analysis and participate in salary surveys
    • Support career framework design and maintenance establishing corresponding salary bands, audit annually ensuring fair practices without diversity disparity
    • Manage the April and October salary review cycles, ensuring leadership is equipped with proper data to make timely decisions in line with payroll deadlines, as well as providing guidance to leaders for the remuneration communications
    • Provide analysis for compensation recommendations relating to promotions, increases and new hires; create and maintain tools to support Talent Acquisition and leadership
    • Oversee Annual Incentive Plan and Long-Term Incentive Plan process and communication, with strong record-keeping and documentation practices
  • M&A
    • Partner with agency operational leadership as well as the Talent team to research potential M&A opportunities, conducting comparative analysis on compensation, benefits, and policies
    • Provide strategic insight into findings, providing recommendations on next steps
    • Support integration and harmonization of compensation activities and job framework after mergers or acquisitions
  • Analytics
    • Maintain people data via dashboard (currently in Data Studio), upload new data monthly pertaining to recruitment, headcount, turnover, and survey statistics
    • Predictive modeling for measuring organizational attrition rates, discretionary effort, and intent to stay trends, and analysis of employee engagement overall
    • Partner with Total Rewards Benefits team to lead annual analysis of benefits plans to assess renewal costs with predictive expectations for new plan year
  • Platforms & Tools
    • Partner with Talent Team to assess efficiency of HRIS, compensation and other platforms and tools
    • Implement or enhance platforms to automate compensation processes and reporting; support team in managing enhancements, integrations and implementations of talent platforms and develop communications and training materials to support roll-out

These are the qualifications we’re looking for in our Associate Director, Total Reward

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of work experience in the field of compensation required
  • 2+ years’ experience within an advertising/marketing agency Talent (HR) environment highly preferred
  • Comprehensive data and analytics proficiencies with the ability to think through processes start to finish, considering the employees for their user experience
  • Deep experience with predictive modeling tied to a business growth mindset
  • Big picture thinker with the ability to create/upgrade/implement platforms and processes in service of our people and our business
  • Strong technical acumen with HRIS experience required exposure to ADP a plus
  • CCP, PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Demeanor that always exhibits professionalism and discretion, understanding the importance of confidentiality across people and situations
  • Strategic understanding of benefits policies and procedures
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite; Google Data Studio or similar experience a huge plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to interact with employees across levels, both in person and electronically
  • Strong ability to organize and work autonomously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and extremely detail oriented
