Title: Associate Director, Talent Management

Job Summary

Barings' Human Resources department is seeking an experienced Talent Management professional to help drive our firm's mission by collaborating with stakeholders across the business globally. The Global Talent Management COE is responsible for the transformation and execution of talent and performance practices. This position offers the opportunity to be both strategic and hands on in the execution of programs that support our global population. The ideal candidate is a strong, consultative partner with expertise in broad Talent Management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide professional expertise and support in the delivery of talent strategies that are required to achieve business goals and results in the continued development of talent and bench strength.
  • Initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted global leadership development programs.
  • Develop and implement frameworks that drive organizational design standards, change management best practices, and culture or engagement efforts.
  • Support enterprise performance management practices to include standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.
  • Identify trends in performance data and make recommendations for action.
  • Train and coach managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
  • Develop and implement training, learning solutions, and development offerings to support individual growth
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and COE teams to deliver programs that support a diverse and inclusive organization.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human resources or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of talent management experience including both learning & development as well as performance management
  • Experience executing firm-wide talent management lifecycle that covers performance management, learning & development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics
  • Strong relationship skills and the ability to collaborate and influence in a global, cross-functional environment
  • Ability to analyze processes, enact change, think tactically and strategically to achieve business goals
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills; Design and storytelling skills in PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; Must be a clear, concise, and persuasive communication
