This position is based at our Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ.The Analyst, People Operations works to support the delivery of superior and efficient HR services and solutions to the Nikola team. This role is on-point for supporting the people needs of our growing manufacturing operations in Coolidge, AZ, so bring your "shop floor" expertise to help us design the future.

In this roleyou will support Nikola's day to day efforts to deliver the people systems and technology roadmap as well as serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager questions. This hands-on technical role requires knowledge of HR business processes and the translation of those business requirements into HR system workflows.

The Analyst role requires the agility to be consultative and collaborative with internal and external partners one day, and hands-on super-tactical the next. That's what it takes to build a great workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver HR processes governing the end-to-end employment lifecycle from onboarding to termination, including policies and practices, leave administration, accommodations, legal and regulatory reports and notices, and training and
  • Enter and maintain employee data in HR systems and ensure accuracy of data and reporting through regular review and auditing of data. Run and create basic reports as requested.
  • Assist with maintaining HR records, processing new employee records/terminations as well as routine transactions such as department/job changes, pay adjustments, general employee information and benefit changes.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with on-site HR leadership in Coolidge, AZ and corporate based HR Operations team members to provide day-to-day support for all members of the Nikola team and serve as first point of contact for investigating and resolving HR-related questions for employees.
  • Support efforts related to evaluating business requirements, streamlining business process design, and enhancing employee experience, education and
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training / development
  • Train managers and employees on systems and
  • Ensure compliance with all privacy, data integrity, and regulatory Adhere to compliance standards, including documentation of requirements, testing and approvals.

  • You are proactive, self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and unafraid to make recommendations to improve how things work and

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR, related field or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of experience in the "guts" of HR, including people operations, systems, benefits, etc.
  • Experience supporting an hourly and/or manufacturing population.

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
