The RMAC team plays a critical role in advancing this mission by delivering high-impact capabilities that enable scalable, reliable, and cutting-edge applications across our platforms. We are seeking an HR Operations Specialist to serve as the primary onsite People Operations representative, supporting the employee lifecycle and day-to-day HR needs at the RMAC facility. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, responsive HR support, including onboarding, offboarding, policy guidance, and first-line employee relations support.

Reporting to the Manager of HR Operations, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence across People Operations to ensure alignment with organizational practices and compliance standards. This role requires strong execution, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently while escalating more complex matters as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary onsite HR point of contact for employees and managers at the RMAC facility, providing timely and effective support for general HR inquiries.

  • Coordinate and deliver a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience, including new hire orientation, documentation, and transitions.

  • Provide first-line employee relations support, addressing routine concerns and escalating more complex or sensitive issues to HRBPs as needed.

  • Support the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies, ensuring they are clearly understood and consistently applied at the site level.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.

  • Facilitate HR compliance processes, including employment eligibility verification, background checks, and required documentation.

  • Partner with People Operations teams (HRBPs, HR Tech, Total Rewards, etc.) to ensure consistent execution of programs and initiatives at the RMAC site.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring data integrity within HR systems and documentation.

  • Identify opportunities to improve onsite HR processes and employee experience, providing feedback and partnering on solutions.

  • Support site-specific needs, projects, and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and operational effectiveness.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field required.

  • At least one year of human resource or related experience preferred.

  • SHRM-CP or similar certification is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.

  • Sound judgment and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.

  • Ability to work independently in an onsite role while staying closely connected to a broader, distributed team.

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.

The pay range for this position is between $88,000 to $115,000 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental vision, 401(k), paid time off and a annual bonus structure.
