HMI Application Software Development (ASD) group is expanding to support the fast‑growing needs in defect inspection, CD metrology result visualization, and scanner data analysis. We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineering Group Team Lead who combines hands‑on engineering capability with strong people leadership. You will lead the transition from Windows‑based applications (C#/.NET) to modern Web architecture (React/JavaScript) and help build high‑quality, scalable application software for ASML/HMI customers worldwide. This position follows a hybrid work model with 2 days WFH and 3 onsite days per week in the Hsinchu office.
Technical Leadership
Lead design and implementation of application software, guiding the team through the evolution from C#/.NET Windows applications toward Web-based development.
Provide technical direction, conduct design/code/test reviews, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
Offer hands‑on support in fullstack engineering, including frontend architecture, backend logic, API integration, and modern UI development.
Ensure documentation quality, consistency of design decisions, and alignment with cross‑functional stakeholders.
People Leadership
Lead and develop a team of 5–10+ software engineers, with 30–70% of your time focused on team leadership.
Mentor, coach, onboard, and elevate the capabilities of team members.
Manage performance reviews, provide feedback, and lead talent development discussions.
Foster an open, collaborative engineering culture aligned with ASML values: Challenge, Collaborate, Care.
Execution & Collaboration
Collaborate with system, architecture, and product teams to define software requirements and roadmap priorities.
Identify technical risks, propose mitigation actions, and ensure timely delivery according to project milestones.
Coordinate with cross‑site partners and support alignment across HMI/Brion/ASML product lines.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
10+ years of software development experience (MS 10+ / BS 12+).
5+ years hands‑on experience with C#/.NET in Windows application development (WinForm/WPF/Web).
Solid knowledge of software design principles, including OOP, design patterns, UML, and software development lifecycle.
Proven experience leading at least 5 engineers, including handling performance reviews.
Fullstack engineering experience with C#, JavaScript, React, or Java.
Hands‑on experience with modern Web development (React/JavaScript strongly preferred).
Background in software product companies or IoT-related industries.
Experience driving technology transformation or architecture modernization projects.
Ability to educate and uplift colleagues’ technical skills through mentoring and hands‑on guidance.
