Job Description

Head of PMO (Offshore) will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle. This position will oversee and coordinate all aspects of offshore wind project management, ensuring efficient execution from planning to completion.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Establishing, refining, and upholding project governance frameworks to meet standards, regulations, and organizational policies
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive PMO handbook outlining project management processes
  • Offering project support, coaching, and oversight to managers and teams
  • Managing robust document systems and enforce version control processes
  • Leading project reporting, and updates using management tools
  • Cultivating a culture of improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing
  • Providing administrative assistance and support to project teams
  • Assisting in hiring, training, and onboarding new team members
  • Managing PMO team, conducting evaluations, and overseeing workload allocation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or higher degree in management, engineering or other related field
  • Experience in complex project management activities (including reporting, document management, processes, planning and other related fields)
  • At least 5 years of experience while managing complex infrastructure projects in the energy sector
  • Experience in managing different interfaces within project (procurement, design, budgeting, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills, able to process and present information in a structured format and in a clear unambiguous way
  • Proven influencing skills and ability to work collaboratively both upwards and at peer level with functional and business colleagues.
