What success looks like in this role:
- Independently manage complex projects requiring collaboration across multiple functions.
- Lead projects across diverse client engagements, ensuring delivery excellence.
- Engage with key client stakeholders to influence decisions on business process re-design and drive adoption of Unisys technologies, products, and services.
- Partner with client stakeholders and Unisys representatives to define and propose solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Manage cross-functional project teams comprising both business and technical members.
- Play a consultative role in establishing the right people, processes, and tools for effective project management.
- Oversee projects with complex business and technical challenges, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Coordinate shared resources across multiple projects to optimize efficiency.
- Define, implement, and consult on project management standards and processes for relevant teams or initiatives.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for hardware refresh programs.
- Coordinate procurement, delivery, and deployment of new hardware (e.g., laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment).
- Oversee asset inventory, lifecycle management, and decommissioning of retired equipment.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and vendors to ensure smooth transitions.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and corporate IT standards.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Proven experience managing IT hardware refresh or infrastructure upgrade projects.
- Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
- Experience in large-scale, multi-site hardware deployments.
- Australian Citizen with security clearance - Baseline or above is preferrable.
