Essential Responsibilities
- Establish and manage strong relationships with high level, key decision makers at customers and internally to drive Customer programs with key focus on demand generation including:
- Map account organization (customer detailed power map & detractor vs promoters)
- Define and validate with the GSI, ESY & GEV leadership team the ITR account plan in line with customer mapping to ensure we approach account at all levels up to C level in a structured manner and with clear impact targets
- Ensure positive impact of account plan on customer perception of GSI, ESY & GEV, on understanding of customer needs and expectations, and ultimately on order intake
- Interface with GE Vernova Global Accounts, with Government Affairs, and when applicable with EFS to maximize impact.
- Drive strategy, integrated account planning, early-stage opportunity identification, and value communication.
- Leverage sales & project teams capabilities to represent the breadth of our portfolio of products and services.
- Develop strategic alliance agreements & technology programs including co-creation, that drive incremental business.
- Utilize market and competitive insights and better understand the customer business model to deliver added value.
- Convey Grid’s and GE Vernova’s narrative of a pole position as industry leader in the Energy Transition and Decarbonization
- Key high-level owner throughout ITO and OTR processes to drive customer satisfaction.
- Aggressively and creatively develop and implement customer value propositions and playbooks to grow GSI, ESY and GEV business.
- Actively participates in commercial events with the customer and sector.
- Define entitlement & identify pockets of profit to be penetrated and grown in its respective areas.
- Align sales strategies of GSI, ESY and GEV for multi-BL deals in the assigned Region
- Strongly interface with Marketing to drive high value solutions leveraging the Grid portfolio
- Act as conduit for solutions through detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how the Company products and services develop and deliver added value to the customer
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Track record in Germany, Denmark and the Benelux
- Degree in engineering, business studies or equivalent
- 10-15 years of direct sales, account, or team leadership experience with international exposure, or the equivalent knowledge/experience
- Solid experience in business development and/or building growth plans
- Track record for driving growth and generating new customers
- Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships at the CEO staff level and at least the next two levels down
- Strategic and/or product marketing exposure
- Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable GS solutions
- In depth understanding and expertise in the industrial arena including good knowledge of key players.
- Collaboration acumen, able to interface with both internal team members and external partners part of a solution-based process
- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization
- As proactive, self-directed, creative, strategic thinker, be able to operationalize thought out process
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Open to extensive travel
- English & German language fluency (oral/ written). Polish and or Dutch are a plus.
