We’re Hiring a Global Product Line Manager in the US, Canada and Europe!

Job Summary:
The Global Product Line Manager in the Environmental subdivision is responsible for overseeing the entire product management system within the organization for YSI EMS, YSI WQS and ISS. This role involves developing and implementing product management policies and procedures, managing a team of product management professionals, and ensuring that product initiatives meet or exceed company objectives. The Global Product Line Manager conducts regular audits, reviews product performance data, and collaborates with other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing product documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and reporting on product performance to senior leadership. The role is part of the Environmental Subdivision leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy
• Develop and execute product strategy in alignment with the Environmental subdivision goals and objectives
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define product roadmap and prioritize features
Product Development
• Manage the entire product development lifecycle from ideation to launch
• Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery
• Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback for product improvements
Product Marketing
• Develop and implement product marketing plans and campaigns
• Create product messaging and positioning to effectively communicate value to target audience
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure product success in the market
Product Launch
• Plan and execute successful product launches, including coordinating with various teams and stakeholders
• Monitor and measure product performance and make adjustments as needed
• Gather customer feedback and incorporate it into future product iterations
Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders
• Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders and find solutions to meet their needs.
Team Management:
• Lead and manage the Product Management and Marketing team, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
• Set goals and KPIs for team members and monitor performance.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement training programs to keep team members updated on trends and strategies.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years experience.

Knowledge of the product lines of YSI is a plus.

• Experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts is an advantage
• Proficiency in product management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Aha!)
• Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and SEM campaigns.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
• A strategic thinker with a test and learn approach to marketing efforts and process improvements.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals. Balance competing priorities and adapt as needed.
• End-to-end Project Management: Lead improvement projects from initiation to completion. Monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of measurable results.

"The estimated salary range for this position is $93,000.00 to $130,000.00 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
