Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced GL & AP Specialist to join our dynamic team who is adept with the following responsibilities:

• Ensuring all purchases are supported with purchase orders and goods receipt prior to processing of invoices
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Warehouses to resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies
• Ensuring all supplier invoices are accurately and timely recorded
• Analyse and reconcile to suppliers’ statement of accounts and follow up on issues timely
• Ensure expenses are accrued for invoices not processed as at month-end close
• Ensure all staff claims and credit cards are supported with receipts and approvals in accordance to the Global Authorisation Matrix before processing
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet schedules for Accounts Payable
• Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of document, transactional data for inspection and internal/external audit.
• Assist with confirmations from third-party suppliers (if any)
• Assist with the processing of intercompany recharges for the Asia team
• Collaborate with regional finance teams for intercompany transactions and reconciliation for month-end
• Support the auditors on any audit queries
• Undertake any other ad-hoc projects and assignment

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Good understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
• Familiar with local Philippines regulations and tax.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Prior knowledge of SAP ERP is an added advantage.
• Analytical, independent and meticulous.
• Self-disciplined and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Good team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
