German Voice Over Artist

We’re looking for a German Voice-Over Artist to help make educational stories accessible and engaging for German-speaking audiences through Auren, a collaborative YouTube channel that localizes English content, including Atrium’s 3D-animated videos.

• Translate and voice English-language videos into German with clarity, accuracy, and a natural flow.
  Capture the tone, emotion, and intent of the original scripts while adapting them for a German audience.
• Deliver performances that feel authentic, conversational, and relatable, especially to younger viewers.
  Ensure consistency and quality across all localized videos to strengthen audience connection.
• Contribute to Auren’s mission of bringing world-class educational content to new audiences.

• Translate English scripts into natural, fluent German, preserving the original meaning, tone, and nuance.
• Record high-quality, conversational voice-overs that feel authentic and engaging to German-speaking audiences.
• Deliver localized recordings at least twice per month, meeting Auren’s quality and timeline standards.
• Collaborate with creators to ensure translations capture the storytelling style and intent of the original content.
• Coordinate with the Auren admin team to stay aligned with translation and upload schedules.
• Provide clean, ready-to-use audio files that require minimal post-production work.
• Maintain a consistent tone and delivery style to strengthen audience connection and channel familiarity.

You’re a native German speaker with a strong command of English, capable of translating meaning, tone, and nuance—not just words. You have a natural, confident voice that feels conversational and engaging, especially to younger audiences. You take pride in delivering clear, authentic performances that sound effortless rather than scripted.

You’re dependable with timelines, communicate clearly, and can adapt to feedback to improve each recording. You value consistency and understand the importance of aligning your work with a channel’s established tone and storytelling style.

Must-haves:

• Native-level fluency in German and strong proficiency in English
• Experience with voice-over recording, preferably for YouTube, e-learning, or narration
• Ability to deliver natural, conversational performances suited to a younger audience (under 30)
• Basic audio recording and editing skills to produce clean, ready-to-use voice files
• Strong attention to detail in translation accuracy and timing
• Reliable communication and adherence to deadlines
