This internship is focused on improving GE Vernova's external sustainability website and communications by advising on website improvements and digital storytelling. This opportunity also includes work related to the company's sustainability reporting and disclosures, including developing an annual external recognition strategy. This role will also support the development of GE Vernova's workforce development strategy.
Internship Outcomes:
Advise on improvements to the company's sustainability website; develop blueprint for annual sustainability awards applications and strategy; benchmarking; influence company-wide workforce development programming.
Primary Skills Developed:
Understanding of corporate sustainability at a large company; digital storytelling; how to inventory, analyze and improve sustainability programming in a corporate environment; ability to influence workforce development programming; understanding of sustainability reporting and disclosures as well as corporate communications.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or digital technology related field.
minimum current GPA of 4.0/5.0.
Other Eligibility Requirements:
Ability to work in the US both now and in the future without company sponsorship.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with digital technology and building websites; ability to analyze and synthesize large quantities of information; ability to organize company-wide inventories and research projects.
This is a flexible internship that could work for a variety of candidates, but someone who enjoys digital communications and storytelling, and can help us incorporate AI into more of our standard work. Able to advise on how to develop a cutting edge website for sustainability externally.

The pay for this position ranges from $27-36/hr. based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed
This position is also eligible for:
- Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
- Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
- Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services
- GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
