This is a non-union positionEnbridge Gas Ohio is seeking a Gas Account Manager II for our Akron or Cleveland office. This role is responsible for driving business growth through the expansion of business opportunities for the Gas Delivery Group. Coordinates relationships with Enbridge Gas Ohio's major business customers, focusing on improving account profitability. #JoinOurTeam
Here’s what you will do:
- Improve revenue through selling current products and developing new solutions using the infrastructure, acquisitions, and partnerships with external business partners of Enbridge Gas Ohio. Responsible for all contract negotiations with external customers and business partners.
- Responsible for the administration of the department's customer information database (Salesforce), and for all project tracking and customer contacts. Demonstrates a detailed understanding of business and operational issues in all functional areas of Gas Delivery as well as those of Enbridge Gas Ohio' 's external customers.
- Recognizes opportunities and threats within assigned customer and market base and reacts appropriately to improve revenue for the Company while meeting customer needs and expectations; establishes and maintains appropriate business relationships and communications channels with all key internal and external customers and business partners; meets or exceeds assigned goals and expectations; coordinates multiple-level interactions with key internal and external customers and business partners; implements and follows sales strategies and programs with customers and business partners; uses appropriate sales techniques to gain acceptance from key customers and business partners; provides key customers and business partners a clear understanding and awareness of Enbridge Gas Ohio's gas infrastructure and operations and energy purchase options; Acts as Key Account Team sustainability SME to help develop team sustainability initiatives, establish understanding of customer needs, and to drive team sustainability efforts to address customer and Company objectives.

Who You Are:
You have:
- Understanding of basic distribution, gathering, and transmission system operations and knowledge of gas acquisition and transportation skills.
- Understanding of the key processes that drive Gas Measurement and Regulation, Planning, Customer Service, and Develop knowledge of general business operations and financial processes.
- Knowledge of Enbridge Gas Ohio's strategies, business plans, business opportunities, and business threats -Knowledge of State and Federal Regulatory arenas.
- Broad knowledge of the natural gas industry, current issues and trends, large industrial and commercial marketplace, gas operations, gas measurement, engineering and design, gas transmission and storage, gas transportation products and services, energy technologies, equipment and applications used by large volume customers, suppliers, competitors, and key end users
- Strong understanding of Enbridge's sustainability goals and objectives with initiative to drive team sustainability efforts.
Education Level:
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and proven related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor Degree + 5years of related experience or
Associates Degree + 7 years of related experience or
High School Diploma + 9 years of related experience or
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above.
