Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to deliver first time right pattern making, pattern grading, Mini marker Validation, sample and work collaboratively with Support teams to create a bulk feasible product 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with the Customer/ Merchandiser in the event measurement adjustments/ feasibility of the sample construction are required and prepare base patterns for the designated category, whilst coordinating with CAD/ CAM to obtain relevant markers whilst forwarding the main material and trim consumption to the merchandising team for customer approval, in order to order fabric in a timely manner.

  • Prepare patterns and markers for R&D (Research & Development) samples and evaluate same together with the team leader in order to ensure that the proto sample is accurate prior to the Customer sample.

  • Develop patterns and markers for proto samples by obtaining required fabric and accessories in consultation with the merchandising department, make required adjustments to patterns based (All proto stages) on customer comments and prepare new samples incorporating the adjustments accordingly (Size-Set, Merchandising Samples, Pre-Production) whilst sending same to the Merchandiser/ approval along with the proto/ review sheet.

  • Prepare Virtual Samples depending on customer requirements whilst analyzing the fit virtually (Spec changers, art work changers other editing) in an accurate and timely manner

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Textile Engineering / NDT or equivalent qualification

  • 1 - 2 years practical experience in pattern making

  • Good Analytical and Communication Skills 

  • Computer Literacy
