Jahnel Group’s mission is to provide the absolute best environment for software creators to pursue their passion by connecting them with great clients doing meaningful work. We get to build some of the most complex and compelling applications for our clients located across the country.
We’re a fast-growing INC 5000 recognized company, yet we still work as a very close-knit team (100+ employees). We’re growing like crazy, and if you’re looking for the next place to call home, hit us up for a beer or coffee.
We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join a team focused on stabilizing, modernizing, and optimizing an existing enterprise application. This role involves deep technical problem-solving, remediation work, and infrastructure improvements — not greenfield development.
You’ll need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats: from diagnosing and fixing legacy .NET code to improving Azure infrastructure and automating deployments with Terraform. We’re seeking someone who thrives on understanding complex systems, cleaning up what’s broken, and implementing long-term, scalable solutions.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and remediate issues in existing .NET applications
- Collaborate on infrastructure modernization using Azure and Terraform
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and automation for application deployment
- Refactor and optimize SQL Server databases for performance and reliability
- Implement IaC best practices (Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure application stability and scalability
- Document system changes, processes, and remediation strategies
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack or DevOps Engineer
- Proficiency with .NET (C#) and SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code expertise (Terraform required; Bicep a plus)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience troubleshooting production systems and optimizing performance
- Excellent communication skills and English fluency (written and verbal)
- A proactive mindset — someone who takes ownership and drives improvements
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
