Team/Role Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our technology team at Citi. This team designs and delivers scalable, resilient, and high performance platform supporting global business-critical applications. You will collaborate with cross-regional colleagues and stakeholders.
What you’ll do
Design and implement scalable, high performance solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
Build and optimize services in Java and Angular focusing on scalability and performance
Develop and maintain distributed systems leveraging Kafka and Flink for real-time data processing
Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database teams on solution design, delivery, and production support
What we’ll need from you
3+ years of experience in software engineering role
Proven expertise in Java (Core and advanced concepts including concurrency and optimization)
Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Proficiency in Angular and modern TypeScript
Ability to thrive in a matrixed, global organisation and fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
