About the Position
The challenge of our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) area is to help Nubank make better financial decisions. Therefore, our mission is to understand the company's performance from a financial perspective, analyzing past results and creating projections for the future.
Broadly, our team is subdivided into FP&A Brazil Core, FP&A Global Products and COE, FP&A Efficiency, and Procurement.
You will be responsible for
- Conducting detailed financial analyses and providing insights on the performance of cloud service products, focusing on AWS;
- Analyzing, explaining, and projecting costs related to your area from a financial perspective;
- Optimizing processes related to this cost package, generating more insights and clarity in statements through organized stakeholder management, always thinking in a scalable and global manner;
- Understanding and analyzing the impacts of efficiency on the company's results due to decision-making related to this cost package;
- Automating reports, connecting them with databases from different sources such as Excel and Cloud;
- Building, updating, and reviewing financial models and simulators;
- Preparing materials for the presentation and consolidation of this cost package at a global level;
- Thinking outside the box in terms of resource allocation suggestions and the best (simple and scalable) way of accounting.
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience in finance with a focus on cloud service products, such as AWS/ Google Cloud;
- Has experience in financial projection and accounting knowledge;
- Possesses strong analytical skills to manage and evaluate complex data;
- Has knowledge of financial modeling;
- Has communication skills with business partners (Finance, Risks, Products);
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Advanced English;
- Programming language knowledge (Scala, SQL, and Python) is a plus.
