About the role and you

We’re hiring a Founding Recruiter, ideally based in the West Coast of the United States, to help us scale across all departments --from Sales to Engineering-- and across all geographies (U.S., London, and our headquarters in Sydney).

You’ll own end-to-end hiring for all roles. You’ll partner closely with the leadership team to help us build a high-talent team and deliver world-class candidate experiences.

This is a senior level role for someone who’s comfortable running point on multiple searches at once, and who knows how to operate autonomously, strategically, and inclusively.

What you’ll do
  • Run full-cycle recruiting for roles across functions and levels

  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify needs, shape roles, and build effective processes

  • Source and help close high-caliber talent across global locations

  • Deliver great candidate experiences with timely comms, clarity, and context

  • Partner with the leadership team to refine our employer brand

  • Keep pipelines and systems clean and up to date (we use Ashby)

  • Collaborate with and coach interviewers and hiring managers as needed

The right candidate

We’re looking for someone who gets excited about employer branding, candidate experience, and building teams that last through the highs and lows of growth. The ideal candidate knows SAAS/B2b market well, is comfortable searching across job functions, and can quickly identify high-calibre candidates.

You might be a fit if you:

  • Have 4-7+ years of experience hiring talent at top startups or technical companies

  • Have filled roles across marketing, sales, post-sales, and solutions engineering, and knows what “exceptional” looks like

  • Has worked in environments with high hiring bars and high velocity

  • Are comfortable juggling multiple searches while keeping things thoughtful and personal

  • Write great outreach and know how to run high-signal screens

  • Are organized, warm, responsive, and comfortable working autonomously across time zones

  • Are excited by the chance to help build a category-defining AI company
