Founding Engineer

About the Role

As a Founding  Engineer at Cenna, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our cutting-edge agentic services platform. Working across the entire stack, you will design, build, and deploy core features, driving the technical vision of our AI-powered products from inception to scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop innovative features for our agentic services platform
• Create seamless, responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks
• Build scalable, secure backend services and APIs to power platform functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and AI-driven solution standards
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering best practices
• Partner with product management to translate requirements into impactful solutions

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in startup settings.
• Strong skills in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with modern software development practices and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies or agentic systems
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Prior experience thriving in a fast-paced startup environment
