Finance Business Partner Manager plays a pivotal role in driving financial governance, system integrity, and risk management across the organization through the following key areas:
· Leading financial governance, system integrity and risk management initiatives within Finance Business Partner function. Be a key player to transform and streamline existing process to optimize the operational performance.
· Overseeing the quality and accuracy of Data Excellence and Financial Reporting & Analysis: including monthly management reports package and other strategic financial insights.
· Acting as Finance Business Partner: provide data-driven recommendations and financial guidance to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities / Phạm vi công việc
1. Governance, Risk and System Management
- Process and data governance
· Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of finance governance processes related to FBP department: Expense Proposal and Control, Business Plan process, ACR process, Project Post Implementation Review, Data governance, Cost center approval matrix, FBP Operating Manuals and any other process required internally by Group, Strategic Business Group (SBG) and Prudential Vietnam Assurance (PVA) requirement and externally by external auditor.
· Implement data governance process, that be embedded within the organization’s data creation, management and protection.
· Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems.
· Identify opportunities to enhance all current processes to be more effective and efficient for PVA operation by quarterly review and advise to Head of FBP and CFO.
· Provide training and communication on governance policies to internal and external stakeholders.
- Risk management
· Monitor all risk related to FBP such as reporting, process, system in accordance with Group and PVA policy.
· Develop risk control plan to implement at FBP department.
· Perform risk assessment and report to identify any fraud, non-compliance spending from FBP reports from business and submit to Head of FBP, CFO, CRO and other relevant EXCO members.
· Foster a collaborative relationship with Risk department to ensure timely delivery of risk reports and to champion process improvements.
- System management
· Conduct cost center approval matrix on systems and Group ACR system related to Expense Proposal properly, with current effective and legally delegation or POA from authorized persons.
· Serve as System Administrator for FBP tools, proactively identifying and resolving system issues.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis and Data Excellence
· Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of management report package (e.g., daily sales, monthly sale performance…).
· Conduct periodic reviews to enhance reporting processes and tools, including automation and dashboard development.
· Monitor financial data quality and integrity, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes.
· Implement data governance process, that be embedded within the organization’s data creation, management and protection.
· Prepare financial reporting and operations.
3. Finance Business Partnering
· Support business units in performing regular expenses and budget review, monitor budget, and recommend remediation.
· Provide financial analysis and insights to guide strategic decisions and resource allocation.
· Advise on EP/ACR approval processes, and monitor to ensure compliance with Group and local policies.
· Facilitate productivity improvements through financial tools and systems optimization.
Job Accountability / Trách nhiệm chính
· Ensure proper storage and maintenance of data, reports, and management information in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and internal FBP procedures.
· Ensure P2P and Coupa systems within the FBP scope operate in full compliance with current approved policies, including adherence to the approval matrix and accurate logging of Expense Proposals into the Group ACR system.
· Ensure timely identification and escalation of risk events that may result in material financial impact to PVA, with prompt reporting to the Head of FBP, CFO, CRO, and other relevant EXCO members.
· Maintain FBP role to align closely to the business and provide effective finance support on projects and expense management.
· Cooperate and influence all other departments within Finance to reduce manual work, increase efficiency and effectiveness of Finance process and controls.
· Support to prepare periodical or ad-hoc financial reports with accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
· Other tasks delegated by line manager.
Job Requirements / Yêu cầu
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, banking, finance or related field.
· At least 05-07 years experience of working in finance compliance and finance business partner related roles.
· Having experience in audit or internal control is preferred.
· Must be good knowledge and experience in Access, SQL, VBA & Power BI.
Knowledge & Skills:
· Be able to work independently and under pressure to meet the deadline committed in company level.
· Be able to work with details and good analytical skills to deal with large of amount of complex data.
· Possess good critical thinking, problem solving and stakeholder management skills
· Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
· Good communication skills in English.
