Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to Collects, analyzes, and interprets financial data. Updates budgets and forecasting models and identifies trends and problems. Communicates key insights and teams up with colleagues from different functions to enhance financial performance and deliver better business results.

This role is contributing to the ABB India, Electrification Business Smart Power Division in India. will be based at “Nelamangala - Bangalore – India”.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Analyze business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances, key financial drivers, trends, and opportunities for improving business results.
- Conduct KPI benchmarking and performance analysis by comparing financial and operational metrics with internal and external peers to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop financial models and scenario-based analyses, evaluating the potential impact of strategic, operational, and investment decisions on business performance.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, ensuring the timely preparation and accuracy of financial information for management review.
- Provide insightful management reporting and presentations, consolidating data, performing analyses, and delivering recommendations to support informed decision-making.
- Enhance financial controls and process efficiency by ensuring compliance with internal control requirements, maintaining audit-ready documentation, automating reporting processes, and supporting productivity improvements through process optimization.
Qualifications for the role:
- Educational Qualification: CA/CMA with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience; OR qualified CA/CMA with 4+ years of experience.
- Accounts and Financial Proficiency: Demonstrated ability in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Financial Analytics with exposure to P&L and Balance Sheet analysis.
- Accounting & Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, GST regulations, and other applicable tax laws.
- Commercial & Treasury Operations: Working knowledge of commercial transactions including LC, BG, and Treasury operations.
- ERP & System Proficiency: Practical experience in SAP or other ERP systems.
- Methodical & Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated analytical abilities with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reporting & Data Visualization: Exposure to Power BI or dashboarding tools.
