Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing management with the financial data, information, and analysis necessary to make their operational, investment, and tactical decisions. This analysis is both routine and ad hoc,. It involves interaction with employees at all organizational levels and across multiple disciplines. Routine responsibilities include monthly general ledger close, process and maintain assigned journal entries, reconciliation of assigned accounts, and other monthly general ledger close responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Financial Systems Responsibilities
* Responsible for processing and posting of allocations and aiding in design an edit.
* Serve as a back up for Star Interface and Security.
* Review monitor, troubleshoot Epic/Star Interface.
* Responsible for monitoring and loading and training others on the Stats process.
* Load and monitor the fixed and flex budget.
* Report, research, and resolve system issues with applications.
Monthly General Ledger Close Duties
* Record journal entries as assigned.
* Review and perform account analysis of assigned accounts to determine if accruals are needed.
* Iteract with departments to ensure that entries are recorded and complete.
* Reconcile due to/due from intercompany and interzone accounts.
Other Duties as Assigned
* Prepare interim and year end audit schedules as applicable.
* Assist Manager with Ad Hoc reports and assignments.
* Assist with Je Template creation and maintenance.
* Provide Lawson Gl, JE training with ImageNow.
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Required Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required or
Finance, Business or Accounting or related experience.
Preferred
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
Additional License(s) and Certification(s):Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years finance or accounting Required or
healthcare Preferred
Required Minimum Skills:
Above average technical and computer skills.
