Modivcare is looking for an experience Vice President Controller over Modivcare Home. You will report directly to Modivcare's Chief Accounting officer and will also support Modivcare Home's Chief Financial Officer. You will be oversee the Home accounting team, which includes the Personal Care and Monitoring segments, and their monthly financial close processes. This individual will also oversee the performance of internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. You will work with business partners, senior finance leaders and ERP solutions teams to assist with integration and ERP implementation activities.
You will...
  • Manage the accounting teams through the month-end financial close process, reviews entries, account analysis and reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Assist in the drafting of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Work with the technical accounting team to assess and conclude on complex accounting matters.
  • Assist with the implementation of SOX compliant processes and controls.
  • Maintain oversight of process cycle narratives and ensures controls are operating effectively.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness of operational, financial, and compliance processes.
  • Assist with planning and execution efforts around integration and system implementation activities.
  • Provide input to assist the financial planning & analysis team with budget, forecasts, spending and cash flow trends.

We are excited to speak to someone with the following...
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 15 + years of progressive experience with a public company, in public accounting or a mix
  • Prior supervisory experience in managing teams.
  • Previous healthcare or specific personal care revenue experience is considered a plus.
  • Experience with SOX compliant internal control oversight
  • Advanced experience with Excel (pivot tables and vlookup)

Salary: $151,000 - 210,000/annually
Bonus eligible based upon company and individual performance.

How does your team reward individual success?

At the end of each Sprint, we hold a Retrospective to review the highs and lows of the last two weeks. Specific contributions are called out in the meeting and documented. The IT Department also holds a meeting each quarter to award coins to individuals whose contributions have been above and beyond the normal effort.
