About the team
Securities, Derivatives and Tax (SDT) is a $500m revenue business, providing sell side firms a complete set of technology solutions and services to support securities, derivatives, and tax processing. Our solutions span the full trade lifecycle from exchange connectivity and new account onboarding, through to clearing, settlement, regulatory reporting, and tax processing.
This role sits within SDT Business Management, reporting to the Vendor Management lead. SDT Vendor Management are responsible for managing SDT vendor relationships and the entire vendor lifecycle from vendor selection through to client billing, including optimizing EBITDA associated with vendor spend.
What you will be doing
This role will be primarily responsible for managing the entire billing cycle associated with 3rd party services leveraged by our clients; From client proposals (pricing), to client onboarding, through to the business-as-usual (BAU) client billing process. Includes:

• Partner with the key departments (Finance/Client Billing, Commercial Management, Sales, Client Experience) making sure that the process to quote, price, track and invoice our clients is clear and efficient. Resolve significant client billings gaps
• Document & maintain the key vendor pricing components for each FIS application/sub-business unit product offering
• Working closing with the commercial pricing team, agree & maintain pricing sheets for all components of client pricing which have 3rd party components
• Work with Vendor management lead to ensure we have a clear reconciliation between vendor contracts, vendor invoicing, client price sheet and client billing
• Working with the client billing team within Finance enduring that they understand the billing for each client billing component related to our vendor pricing
• Working with the Client Relationship Managers to have a clear communication with the client on the pricing components of their invoice and recommend additional revenue opportunities in relation to 3rd parties

What you bring:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training or work experience
• 8+ years' work experience, ideally with 2+ years relevant experience in finance or client billing
• Industry experience with knowledge of different securities products
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Strong knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel (pivot tables, etc.)
• Ability to navigate complex contractual agreements
