Department OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity with high visibility within MSI’s Treasury group, which plays a strategic role in managing the balance sheet of the company. Treasury handles cash and liquidity management, intercompany funding and repatriations, equity, debt and bank financings, rating agency relationships, financial risk management including foreign exchange and interest rates, pension liability management, insurance, aviation, customer financing, customer credit risk and corporate payroll processing, among others.
Job Description
This position is responsible for the capital markets group, supporting MSI Treasurer in making strategic decisions on the company's balance sheet capitalization, executing debt equity capital markets transactions, as well as bank funding facilities as the company grows organically and inorganically.
Lead MSI’s debt capital markets activities, structuring, negotiation and execution all forms of external borrowing including public debt issuances, bank term loans, syndicated revolving credit facilities
Lead equity capital markets activities, including execution share repurchases and issuance of equity and hybrid instruments
Develop MSI’s target capital structure & minimum cash requirements, manage Credit Rating Agency relationships
Forecast MSI’s US monthly cash position and execute initiatives to ensure sufficient liquidity at MSI level
Monitor liquidity in overseas subsidiaries and ensure timely repatriation/pooling of excess capital
Oversee Foreign Exchange Risk Management Program, review and improve hedge policy and procedures as necessary, oversee derivative trading activities to ensure minimum friction
Ensure compliance with MSI’s debt portfolio and corporate credit facility
Oversee MSI’s Pension Liabilities, develop de-risking, funding and asset allocation strategies, analyze & evaluate pension asset manager’s performance and support controller’s team to ensure proper accounting and disclosure of Pension assets and obligations
Establish effective cross-functional relationships with key internal stakeholders (including tax, accounting, FP&A and operating finance teams) as well as external stakeholders (financial institutions, consultants etc.)
Provide support for corporate-wide financing initiatives such as supplier financing, credit card programs
Support controllers group with proper accounting of treasury related activities
Preferred Skills:
Masters in Business/Finance degree preferred
7+ years of experience in Treasury
Basic Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience
