JOB SUMMARY: 

This is an opportunity for an energetic, eager to learn and driven senior analyst to join a rapidly growing, well-funded financial services company and play an integral role in the Finance department. The Treasury Operations Senior Analyst is responsible for monitoring 777 Partners’ liquidity to support operations and future M&A activity. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Perform cash management and bank reconciliation processes with little to no supervision 
  • Analyze portfolio companies, recognize liquidity risks and communicate them 
  • Engage stakeholders across 777 Partners and subsidiaries on their liquidity needs 
  • Assist with bank reconciliations for 777 Partners and subsidiaries 
  • Collaborate with members of the Finance function to understand and support future liquidity needs 
  • Work with accounts payable to understand required payments in order to print checks and send wire and ACH transfers 
  • Review returned payments 
  • Support completion of daily task sheet and checklists of to do items relating to bank accounts and new businesses 
  • Review and reconcile daily balances, ledgers and online accounts 
  • Perform servicing operations to match cash to debt 
  • Perform weekly cash forecasting 
  • Support liquidity management stakeholders and accountants, as needed 
  • Process foreign currency exchange transactions 
  • Support ad-hoc or special Finance projects as needed 
  • Coach junior treasury operations members on liquidity management best practices, methods and operations 
  • Track performance metrics for Treasury Operations 

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES 

  • Strong critical thinking skills 
  • Good people skills 
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly with others, both orally and in writing, and has strong presentation skills 
  • Thinks outside the box and identifies new opportunities and recommendations 
  • Understands financial services, specifically capital markets 
  • Possesses at least a basic understanding of the M&A lifecycle and post-merger integration activities 
  • Strong data analysis skills and mastery of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools 
  • Basic understanding of process capabilities, including enhancement levers such as process redesign, technology and governance 
  • Executes on tasks and plans with little to no supervision 
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and operations within the accounting department (general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.) 
  • Basic understanding of financial management reporting and financial planning and analysis 
  • Aware of some financial systems, preferably SAP 
  • Understands tax planning and strategy concepts and how they factor into liquidity needs 
  • Strong understanding and application of finance analysis, portfolio management, and cash management 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

  • BA / BS degree (4-year college) with a focus in either finance or accounting 
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience (i.e. cash management, accounting, financial analysis)
