Treasury Director at Toast (Remote)

We’re hiring a Treasury Director to support our growing Treasury function. Reporting to the Senior Director of Treasury, the Treasury Director will be a key member within the Treasury organization directly in overseeing Toast’s core Treasury operations related to bank account structure, liquidity planning, fixed income analysis, and global insurance. In this role, you will work cross-functionally across Finance and the broader business, with substantial exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to impact strategic decision making in a hyper-growth environment at scale.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- The Treasury Director will play an important role in supporting TMS automation, cash flow and bank relationship management.
- You will cultivate and maintain relationships with global banks and financial service providers
- Partner with broader Finance team (Accounting, FP&A and Strategic Finance, Corporate Development and Legal), working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to identify and optimize liquidity needs in addition to supporting ad hoc requests and projects
- Assist with management of global insurance program including annual insurance renewal process
- Ensure compliance with internal controls while supporting internal and external audit requirements, including SOX and SEC financial reporting
- Oversee global cash operations, including bank account structure, liquidity planning, and cash positioning
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
- BA or BS required - preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 10+ years Treasury and/or FP&A experience
- Broad understanding of the Capital Markets and Fixed Income
- Expert understanding of banking services, standards, best practices, clearing systems, and payment technologies
- Strong organization skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience implementing TMS (Treasury Management Systems)
- Experience managing junior and senior level Treasury professionals
Special Sauce* (Nonessential Skills/Nice to Haves)
- Experience with accounting/financial reporting at a SaaS company
- Experience with NetSuite, SFDC, and Snowflake
- CTP or CFA/MBA
- Fintech experience
- Experience with Reval, Bloomberg, and Lookr
