Treasury Analyst – Denver, Colorado

We’ll be looking for you to conceptualize and apply advance knowledge of bank documentation for the various bank accounts of Western Union and its subsidiaries, both in the United States and internationally, approximately 500+ accounts. You will be responsible for opening, maintaining, and closing bank accounts in accordance with Corporate Policies and Procedures, corporate resolutions/constitutive documents, reviewing detailed bank agreements, ensuring all authorized signers on bank accounts are valid, and implementing process improvements when identified. You’ll complete documentation for all domestic and international bank accounts and maintain hard-copy and soft files. You will maintain a comprehensive bank account database to create, run and distribute monthly and/or quarterly reports. You will troubleshoot and resolve various problems or issues related to Western Union account(s) and assist with various Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and special projects for the Treasury Department.

For such a detail-oriented role, you will have 3-5 years of banking operations experience. You’ll have a degree in the banking, paralegal, and/or treasury field, paralegal certification is a plus. You will have excellent verbal and written communications skills. You’ll demonstrate problem identification and resolution skills and have the ability to review complex legal documents and identify areas for management/legal review. You will be able to work and prioritize multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced, tight deadline environment. You will have advanced computer skills with various programs and applications such as Word, Excel, and databases.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. The hiring team will be able to answer any questions you may have.

The annual gross base salary range is $54,467.30 87,146.42. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
