Job Details:

Job Summary: Manages corporate treasury function including capital structure, credit acquisition and administration, working capital management, foreign exchange risk management, letter of credit issuance and receipts, bid and proposal review, credit risk, export finance, benefit plans, insurance and risk management and related miscellaneous activities. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. Responsible for developing and maintaining a cohesive and coordinated communication program with the shareholders. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the Treasury functions including cash management, risk management, capital markets and business insurance programs to achieve or exceed business and strategic plan objectives.
  • Represent the Company with regard to Treasury and Insurance matters in all relations with its global customers and business and non-business communities, with specific emphasis on the financial community and regulatory agencies.
  • Participate with other key senior executives in setting objectives and developing and implementing current and long-range business plans and strategies.
  • Monitors the Company's working capital position, cash forecast and identifies solutions as necessary
  • Produces required covenant calculations and associated documents for financial reporting purposes, and anticipates the Company's performance in future quarters against required benchmarks
  • Manages the Company's foreign exchange activities so that all significant risks are known to senior management and all such risks are mitigated through the use of forward contracts, foreign cash and debt balances or other suitable derivative instruments. Prepares accounting data for corporate on a quarterly basis
  • Oversees risk management department and assists in identifying and evaluating the inherent risks of loss to which the company is exposed and selecting the most cost-effective method of protecting assets. Assists in developing and effectively managing insurance and other financial plans for treatment of these risks
  • Assists in evaluating credit risks associated with receiving payment from entities other than the U.S. government
  • Assists subsidiary controllers, business development personnel and contract functions in coordinating export finance activities with banks, government entities and other export finance providers
  • Serves on employee benefit plan committees to shape structure and monitor investments
  • Maintain a current level of familiarity with the Company activities and objectives to effectively communicate with target financial organizations.
  • Prepares periodic reports for distribution to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
  • Assists/prepares corporate presentations to analysts, bankers, senior management and the board of directors.



Minimum Job Requirements:

Four-year college degree, or equivalent, in finance, accounting or a related field plus fifteen years in corporate finance, banking or related field. MBA degree or CPA. Occasional travel to support foreign activities. Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills required. Ability to analyze and understand complex issues affecting the Company, develop plans, and recommend action. Ability to speak before public groups and in the media. Ability to manage people and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
