ABOUT THE ROLE


Reporting into the Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships, the Transaction Manager’s mission at Happy Money is to deliver value to our Capital Markets Partners through execution and ongoing management/reporting associated with Loan Participation trades and forward flow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Understand the landscape of today’s financial system (credit scoring, borrowing and saving, wealth management, insurance, payments, currency) leverage the changing environment to inspire followership from our Partners by leveraging Happy Money as their exclusive digital brand
  • Care deeply about the vision and mission of the company, about the product, about the members, and most of all about the people on the team
  • Pulling loan tapes and assist in pricing loan pools, collaborating with the Risk and Analytics team
  • Supporting/Confirming reporting goes out on time and is correct to trading partners
  • Customize presentations and sales materials to support Partner acquisition
  • Building in house capital market models (as needed)
  • Support loan sales by following up on information requests, setting up data rooms and coordinating with Legal during the NDA process.
  • Overseeing loan trading settlement, working across multiple Happy Money stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Serve as a trusted information source for Happy Money business partners
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create portfolio dashboards to easily see performance of separate pools relative to total origination
  • Direct Accountability for Optimization, and Retention on Forward Flow and other Loan Sale Partners

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years’ experience in the industry or a similar role
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, innovative, curious, and confident risk taker
  • In depth knowledge of the financial services industry, emerging technologies, knowledge of regulations, external markets, as well as experience with complex industry projects
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasive/negotiating, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in uncharted areas, deal with ambiguity, learn from failure
  • Proven track record of relationship management with senior executives
  • SQL/Model build skills are plus
  • Four year degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • Travel required; domestic at
