About the Role:
The Tax Accountant will provide tax support and assistance in the areas of federal and state income tax compliance, indirect tax compliance and accounting for both income and indirect taxes and other special projects.
What You'll Do:
• Prepare individual and business income tax returns
• Prepare individual and business tax plans
• Assist with various state and federal reporting
• Scan and organize physical and electronic files
• Research federal and state tax issues and assist in the development of ongoing tax strategies in order to minimize tax liabilities
• Support transfer pricing analysis
• Assist with deemed inclusion calculations
• Respond to customer or vendor inquiries concerning the application of tax
What You Need to Succeed:
• Strong understanding of General Ledger Accounting
• Strong computer skills with Excel & Word
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and organized
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
• 1+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
